What is the Sampaloc awards?

Well, I brained this as a counterpart of Hollywood's RASPBERRY AWARDS which gives awards to those movies that are worstly made and stupidly created. Well, this is not to discourage pilipino filmmakers but to help them create a better idea on their next film and to let them know about the sentiments and comments of small movie enthusiasts like me.

The Sampaloc awards does not limit only to the movies but also gives prior awards to the tv industry for a broader scope of giving sights and comments.

Unfortunately, GMA Films and Regals' joint project "Mulawin the Movie" got 4 awards, the Worst Screenplay,Worst Effects and Costumes,Worst Picture ( tied with Star Cinema's Pacquiao The Movie ) and The Ambisyosong Kamatis Award which determines the movie as the most promoted and coveted but didn't turned out well..LESSON: Never end your movie title with "The Movie".

Jericho Rosales claimed the top spot as the Worst Actor in portraying Pacman in a biopic and Worst Tv Actor by substituting the legendary FPJ in the TV version of Panday...LESSON: Never do any project involving fight scenes.

Pacquiao the Movie did'nt end up happy by tying up with Mulawin as the Worst Picture and by having a close fight with the latter in the Worst Screenplay award....LESSON: Ther'es no lesson here only experiences..
